Wintersday Festival Rawked!
I missed it last year and was stoked for this years events. In all I enjoyed the games, missions, etc.. Sure there were hiccups but overall it was a great deal of fun. Hearing my friends laugh (voice chat) while chasing gifts and grentches etc was worth every minute invested.
I really enjoyed it and wonder how they will top it next year!

The great thing about this years event was that I didnt feel obliged to be there for every event , infact - i've only invested about 20 minutes into the event this year and came away with 3 new festive hats! (my guildy took me on a dist hopping run ) and quite a few presents along the way !. And now with this new npc hat creator I dont need to repeat it with my other characters.
Good Job Anet - and thank you for making the event more accessible to those who can't "grind" this time of year !

Four more hats. Good thing they added the hat trader, otherwise my ranger would be crying, carrying 11 hats.

Very Fun, timed my naps perfectly. Made every 3hr event of the finale, but will miss the last one because I have work tomorrow.
It will be nice to pay attention to my wife and son again... GJ Anet, might need to work on the "Kamadan AFK presents" lag situation though.

24 hours of Wintresday joy. Played from beginning to the end. Collected all 4 hats and as may gifts as I could get my hands on. Was bummed about the Singed Gargoyle Skull increase but still managed to get to my goal of 1000 Spiked Eggnogs and 1000 Wintergreen CC with the help of the Grawl. The CC shard collector rocks, traded in all 1000 of my shads, thought I was going to have to hold onto them till next year.
Thanks A-net for a great Wintersday Event.

Grats to A-Net for an awesome Wintersday celebration!
1. Snowball Arena was as addictive as ever.
2. The finale was fun as heck, and the addition of the CC Shard collector put the icing on the cake. Love the timing of the addition of the collector as well, as you saw much charity being spread over the last day (i.e. people giving away "worthless" CC Shards so that Dwayna/Grenth would win).
3. One character now has the Drunkard title (from farming Skulls - those poor gargoyles), and another two have enough Spiked Eggnog to accomplish that as well.
Overall, a rousing success!
